lunar month and the 22nd and 23rd of the 9th lunar month During this festival, people can enjoy exhibitions of Tibetan, Tu and Mongolian butter flowers. In addition, Buddhist activities, such as displaying large Buddhist images under the sun are held.
On the 15th of the 4th lunar month, the Yamataka dance is performed and large images of Buddha are displayed under the sun. From the 7th to the 8th of the 6th lunar month, Yamataka dances are held and images of the Buddha are displayed under the sun. In addition, Buddhist scriptures are recited. On the 22nd and 23rd of the 9th lunar month, homage is paid to Buddha and the Hayagriva, or the Horse Necked God, and dance to commemorate the death of Master Tsong kappa. |
