Wuhan, described as the "Homeland of White Clouds and Yellow Crane", is one of China's largest cities and the terminus of the Yangtze Cruise from Chongqing.

Wuhan is China's important industrial base, covering an area of 8,400 square kilometer, and with a population of 6.8 million. It's located in a flat and low-lying land of an alluvial plain, and crisscross with rivers and streams along with numerous lakes and ports. The Yangtze River and the Han River join here, dividing the capital into 3 towns: Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang.
