Luwei Hai is actually a semi-marsh lake, where reeds abound and birds fly freely. A clear brook zigzags its way through the marsh, where waterfowls are seen hovering overhead.

When the reeds come into bloom, the green meandering brook presents a striking contrast to the yellow spread of reeds. Layers of the down-like flowers ripple, seducing many wild ducks and egrets to come and visit. Reed Lake is suffused with color and exudes a thriving and flourishing vitality.
