Rhinoceros Lake has a depth of 12 meter, and covers an area of over 200,000 square meter. The lake is broad and deep blue. The volume of water is static all year round.

It was said that peaceful Rhinoceros Lake was endowed with a mysterious power. Far into the distance is Mount Goddess Woluosemo. Rhinoceros Lake is also the only place in Jiuzhaigou that provides boat-renting services to travelers.
